Privacy Policy

This website uses Google’s tracking scripts in order to get as much relevant, anonymous information as we can in order to better craft content and design to serve our readership.

Possibly most importantly to you, we have enabled Google’s Remarketing feature, which means at some point you could see a NextRestaurants ad on another website, encouraging you to return to a specific page or product you’ve viewed previously. This also gives us greater insight into reader demographics, although, again, these are anonymous.

If you’re uncomfortable with this, feel free to opt-out at Google’s Ads Settings page. You can also visit Google’s Analytics opt-out page.

Google also wants me to let you know:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, may show my ads on sites across the Internet, as stated above.
  • NextRestaurants, and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our website.
  • Demographics we track include: age, gender, and other interests. We cannot view details on individual site visitors, including their behavior on our website — this info is only aggregated and viewed in summary fashion. And we do this to drive decisions on what content we create and how we design our site.

The only time we’ll ask for personal information is when you opt-in to our email newsletter. We like to know how engaging our content is, so you should know that by subscribing to the newsletter we may periodically review which pages and content you visit at the site.

If you have any questions about what specific information we know about you by you visiting NextRestaurants.com, contact us. We’re fully transparent on this.
