I suspect your results will be very, very different from this restaurant’s, but this metric gives you initial insight into your Users’ likely devices when visiting your restaurant website. Do you attract PC users or Mac users? Bleeding-edge users or old-school users? You’ll get a feel for that with this metric.
I don’t know that it will transform your marketing, knowing this, but it does tell you one thing: which browsers you should test your site in. If 1,815 Users visited your site via Safari, and you’re a PC user yourself, has it ever occurred to you to see what the experience of visiting your site is like via Mac? You don’t want this to be a sudden surprise.
Browsers often display some website elements very differently from each other.
