5. What your Bounce Rate is.
Your bounce rate is the percentage of Users (visitors) who navigate away from your website after visiting just one page.
As a restaurant, you do not want this number to be high. You want it very, very low. But again, site design plays a huge role here. A well-designed site will require visitors to click to additional pages to initiate action, but not too many clicks.
Meanwhile, your website designer may have put your menu right there on the home page. Someone visits your site via mobile, scrolls down to the menu, navigates away — BOOM, that’s a bounce. And yes, it’s a bounce even if they click through to your profile on Facebook or Twitter.
